Let’s be honest, ladies. Sometimes, we’re just not “in the mood.” But do we ever stop to think that Scripture never mentions being in the mood when it talks about our responsibility to the marriage bed? What if we put our husbands first and lovingly give of ourselves?

The question is not, “Do I feel like fulfilling his sexual need tonight?” But rather, “Am I going to use my body to bless my husband, according to his need and according to my marital duty?

  1. I’m on the opposite side of this issue, I guess I’m the guy and my husband is the women in most marriage issues. But for some reason, it feels worse to me, to be the woman who is wanted, then the man who just occasionally gets his needs rejected. I know that’s not the case, but it feels that way. Sex really is about being selfless, not getting your needs met, but meeting the needs, exceeding the needs of your spouse. I love that, serving them despite your mood!
