I’m on spring break this week, so I’m modifying my regular blogging schedule. Hope you’ll enjoy the articles that will be coming your way!
Hey, blogger-type people- if you’ve been around for a while, you’ll recall that I had a feature last fall called “Blog Swap.” I’m ready to get back in the saddle with it, so I’m on the hunt for bloggers who are interested in swapping guest posts.
I’m especially interested in content that’s a little different from my normal fare such as recipes, crafts, DIY, home schooling, singles, book/movie reviews, men’s interest, photo blogging, nutrition, exercise, etc., but content that’s similar to mine is welcome as well. Also, I’d love to hear from some of our male bloggers out there. Here are the blog swaps I’ve done so far so you can get an idea of how it works (check the comments section of each post for the link to see how the blogger I swapped with handled the swap on her end).
If you think you might be interested, click here to find out more, and drop me an e-mail at MichelleLesley1@yahoo.com.
Looking forward to swapping with you!
UPDATE to this post:
Due to sudden and unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, I will not be teaching/blogging the “Jacob” study after all. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.
These are my notes from my ladies’ Sunday School class this morning. I’ll be posting the notes from my class here each week. Click here for last week’s lesson.

Wednesday will mark the end of our “Through the Bible in 2014” readings and lessons. It’s been a great study, and I hope you have learned from it and enjoyed it as much as I have. So, because next Sunday will be the first Sunday of the new year, on the 4th we will start a new curriculum.
For the next few months, we will be using my book, Jacob: Journaling the Journey, to study the life of Jacob in the book of Genesis. If you’re familiar with the book, you know that it…

Last minute Christmas shopping? Don’t forget– “Jacob” is on sale for 99 CENTS, and a portion of your purchase supports missions.
All e-versions of “Jacob” are on sale! Get a Kindle or Nook copy for just $1.99, or other e-version at CBD for just $1.59! (Click the hyperlinks here, or click on the “Books” tab above.)
You can give “Jacob” as a GIFT, too! At these prices, you can get one for all the women on your Christmas list!
And don’t forget your women’s Bible study group! You don’t have to have an e-reader or tablet. “Jacob” can be downloaded to your smart phone, computer, or tablet, too. This is a much less expensive way (especially for small churches on a limited budget) to do a women’s Bible study than ordering a $15 workbook for everybody. It’s a great time to start thinking about January Bible studies!
Order your copies today– this is a limited time offer!
Here’s why I want you to buy tons and tons of copies of “Jacob” for Christmas. And, don’t forget, it’s on sale! http://michellelesleybooks.com/2014/11/14/e-book-super-sale-5/
I’m just going to come right out and say it:
I want you to buy my book. I want you and your church and any other Christian organization you’re a member of to buy as many copies of my book as you possibly can.
Why?
Well, it’s certainly not because I want to become rich and famous and have a monopoly on Bible study sales at your local Christian bookstore. I really couldn’t care less about that.
And it’s not because I want to make a lot of money for my publishing house, or feed my ego, or prove myself to people, or score some sort of brownie points with God.
I want to be a missionary. And I want you to come with me.
How can buying my book turn you into a missionary?
Be a missionary to yourself:
If you’ve never turned from your sin and trusted in…
