Upcoming Events: Ladies, You’re Invited!

Looking for a super, doctrinally sound women’s event to attend? Let me tell you about two I’ve got coming up soon!

Ladies, did you enjoy last year’s first annual Open Hearts in a Closed World online conference? (If you missed it, you can still catch all of the sessions here.)

Well, the conference is back again this summer, July 12-16, 8:30-11:00 a.m. (CST), and all of us at OHCW hope you’ll join us! The conference sessions will air each day on the AGTV app, YouTube, IGTV (Instagram), Facebook, and this year, here on the blog.

The conference is totally free and you don’t have to register or sign up. Just tune in each day at your convenience and watch the teaching sessions. You could even gather up some friends and watch together!

The theme of this year’s conference is Reverence in Radical Times, and our focal passage will be Titus 2:3-5:

Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.

Titus 2:3-5

For more details on the conference, visit the OHCW website, follow Open Hearts in a Closed World on Instagram, or join the OHCW Facebook group and ask the conference organizers directly.

Are you in the Opelika, Alabama, area? Come on out to Providence Baptist Church for the Staying on the Path in a World of Compromise women’s conference on July 31.

During session 1, we’ll be talking about the authority, sufficiency, and necessity of Scripture in our lives. Session 2 is all about discernment. And get ready with your questions, because session 3 is going to be a fun time of Q&A.

The ladies of PBC’s WOVEN (Women Of the Vine Encouraging and Nurturing) women’s ministry are working hard to give you a great day of food, fellowship, and encouragement around God’s Word.

If you’re in the area, but not a member of PBC, you are warmly invited to attend, but space is limited and you must contact the church directly for tickets. Tickets are $25 each and include materials, lunch, and dessert.

Newly added to the Staying on the Path Conference,
a pre-conference meet and greet!

Love these events and can’t wait for more? I’ll be posting more info about my fall and winter events (in September October, November, and January) as time gets closer.

I’m coming to see YOU,
Arkansas, Montana, California (x2!),
Virginia, and Tennessee!

For more information on an event near you, or to schedule me for your own event, check out my calendar of events and booking information on my Speaking Engagements page.

Hope to see you soon!

  1. I have been telling everyone at church to tune into OHCW. I’m so tired of women’s events that assume we don’t need sound doctrine and real teaching. I’m so glad you ladies are putting this on!

  2. I’m in a panic, if I have to miss the first session on Thursday, will I be able to see it later on your site?

    1. Hi Melanie- No need to panic! :0) Yes, once each daily session is posted at 8:30a (CST), it will be available here on the blog and at all the other platforms indefinitely. If it sets your mind at ease, all of the sessions from last year’s conference are still up at all the platforms on which it was available.
